Straight to the core, we are going to compare Lexuma True Wireless In-ear Bluetooth 5.0 XBud Series Earbuds. There are so far 4 products under Lexuma XBud Series on the market: XBud, XBud-X, XBud-Z, XBud2. True Wireless Earbuds XBud is the very first True Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Earbuds that designed by Lexuma in January 2019.
Let’s first talk about the features in common, and discuss the differences afterwards. For all those earbuds under XBud Series, they are all designed with true wireless stereo and are equipped with auto power on and pair. And the true wireless earbuds can be operated under Dual Operating Modes, which allow user to use the earbuds in Twins Mode or Single Mode. In Dual Operating Modes, you can listen to music by using single mode which you can choose either one of the earbuds for making calls or listening to music.
All true wireless earbuds are designed with Bluetooth 5.0 which ensure a much stable wireless bluetooth 5.0 connection with the device. It has a lower power consumption and longer bluetooth connection range (up to 10M). They are also fully compatible with any bluetooth devices including iOS, Android and Windows system.
XBud is a pair of true wireless earbuds that designed for those who are in love with sports. The battery of each true wireless earbud is a 40 mAh Lithium Polymer Battery and it supports 3-4 hours of playtime. It comes with a charging case with a built-in 300 mAh battery which can fully charge the true wireless earbuds for 2-3 times. Size-wise, it is the most compatible among the XBud Series. Each true wireless earbuds only weighted 4.7g with additional ear wing tip on it. And XBud comes with black or white in colour.
For XBud-X, it is so far the only true wireless bluetooth 5.0 earbuds in XBud Series that is designed with a metal charging case. The battery capacity of each side of the true wireless bluetooth 5.0 earbuds jumped from 40 mAh to 60 mAh which supports a longer music playtime. For the charging case, the battery capacity jumped from 300 mAh to 2600 mAh, whereas the case can also be used as an external power bank. The charging case can fully charge the true wireless earbuds for 20 times, which will convenient those who always travel Also, it was improved from only sweat proof to waterproof. This true wireless earbuds have been graded as IPX7 Waterproof. The sound quality has also made a big step forward. They are equipped with Hi-Fi speaker, so it makes the sound more pure and sensible.
The true wireless earbuds XBud-Z has a similar with XBud-X. It is also being graded as IPX7 Waterproof and can be used as portable power bank. However, the size of charging case is even smaller than XBud-X, which will be easy to carry around.
XBud2’s design is a bit different from XBud-X and XBud-Z. Unlike graded as IPX7 Waterproof, XBud2 was graded as IP56 Splash and Sweat Proof. With IP56 international protection, it can protect the XBud2 from dust, splash water (e.g. rain) and sweat. And its charging case got a smaller battery capacity: 2000 mAh, but it can also be used as portable power bank. One more special function is that users will be able to switch 5 different types of EQ modes by double tapping the earbud. The sound driver that they used is Graphene sound driver which produces a richer bass.
Among all the XBud Series, I will personally go for XBud-X as it has a more advanced design. The metal charging case is very tempting and classy. Most importantly, I do think the big battery capacity of the charging can save my life someday.
